My Last Day

Normally on vacation I'm ready to go home the last day. This vacation I could stay at least another week. Today I have to be off the beach by 1:30, so I can shower and check out of my room. It's sad. I absolutely love it here in Zihaut. Maybe I'll come back in November for my birthday!

April Book Connection
Yesterday I read Game Change. My goal was to get half way through it, but I finished it. It was exciting to relive the election process. The background knowledge on the candidates was also quite interesting. The Iowa Caucuses process game back to me. I saw Edwards, Obama, and Clinton in Iowa. When I saw Edwards, he seemed "down to earth" wearing jeans and a fleece. At the time I really wanted him to be Obama's VP. Obama made a great choice with Biden. I ♥ Joe Biden. Hillary's event was a production. Now I understand her desperation. I also saw Bill and still think he has the persona of a rock star. When I read the Republican side, I wasn't really shocked, but it was entertaining. For those with an interest in politics, especially the last election, I recommend this book.

sounds like a good one made more meaningful by your personal invovlement. Mexico in Novemeber - our birth month - sounds fabulous. Keep me in mind if you pull the trigger on that one!

What if... The Delivery

  Molly was excited to get a package from her friend who lives in Alaska.  When she opened the box, she was confused.  Although the shirt was actually soft and of good quality, she was upset by the guns in the flag.  When she googled Holster's, it was exactly what she thought... pro-gun.  She didn't know how to handle the situation, so she sent a picture stating she was confused. Her friend had obviously lost her mind.  During the conversation, she kept proclaiming that she hadn't sent a t-shirt.  When Molly explained it was her writing on the box, things became weird.  The friend was in a state of denial.  Molly even sent a text with a picture of the writing on the box. I am going to school with a thank you/apology note in hand. Yesterday I was "caught red handed" making illegal copies on the staff copier. It's not like it's the first time I've done it. It's not like everyone doesn't do it. It's not like I feel sorry about making the copies The problem is that I was caught, completely "busted". I watched the copy police (lovely lady) walk into make a copy and knew she would see the copies I was making and be upset to quite upset.
