Many know that my back has been causing major pain this summer because I frequently whine about it. Today I went to get an epidural steroid and anesthetic injection in my spine. Three years ago when I was having similar pain in my back I received the same injection (The same wonderful person drove me again this time!). I'm fairly certain the tech three years ago was not as attractive as the tech (Matt) that I had today. Plus I'm fairly certain Matt let me leave earlier than I was supposed to after I commented on forgetting my book and commented about the magazine selection (commented = whined). The doctor was not as attractive yet seemed to be thorough and to know what he was doing. While he was doing his initial examination he was checking my strength and reflexes. When he was checking the strength of my arms, I winced. I then had to explain that Body Pump went a little crazy on the triceps. My triceps are quite tender (I whine.). My hope is the injection works as well as the injection three years ago. It will be great to play golf without being in pain after the second hole (ahhh... a whine). Although I wanted to play tomorrow, it seems I need to wait three to six days before I do those things that aggravate my back. Of course this is common sense, but I really (Ah, you see it coming.) wanted to play golf tomorrow (Last whine... maybe I need wine!).

I, however, have still been going to they gym and focusing on being physically fit (or at least burning enough calories to eat more food). Yesterday I received an early morning text from a friend in God's Country . President Obama was talking about "The President's Challenge" . Today (I tried yesterday and decided to put it off until today... forget out it... let it happen... put it aside... clear my mind of it... all probably sankalpa) I formed a group. The...
