Today I spent $40 filling up my gas tank. This is a first for me since I've never spent over $30 to fill up any vehicle's tank that I've owned. Although I am in favor of a gas tax, I am not in favor of being pilfered by the big oil companies. As I was complaining to my father about filling up my tank, he mentioned the last time he filled up it cost $71.
